Jacqueline Staikos: Mélange

Mixed media paintings by Jacqueline Staikos

Jacqueline Staikos has been painting in the Quinte region for many years. Her first solo show "Stirrings" was at the Belleville Library Gallery back in 2003! Her intuitive painting technique reflects her interests in the subconscious, and her love of juxtaposing complimentary colours.

This retrospective exhibition will reflect the changes she has undergone throughout the years.

Don Wilson: Kendal: Artifacts and Anecdotes, An Archaeology of Capitalism

The group of photographs in this exhibition comprise the first showing of a growing body of images. These photographs were made in Kendal, Ontario.

Remembering Wim Muysson: Selection of Work from our Permanent Collection

On display in Gallery 3 until October 19, 2024

Ten years ago Wim Muysson made a generous donation to the John M. Parrott Art Gallery. Along with a cash donation and cabinets to house and protect his artwork - Wim donated a large collection of his own paintings, spanning several decades of work.

Sadly, Wim Muysson passed away on July 1, 2024.

We are pleased to be able to share a large selection of artwork from our collection, in honour of this talented and prolific Belleville artist.
