CELA - Centre for Equitable Library Access

Your public library offers a collection of over 300,000 books and more for people who have trouble reading print due to a learning, physical or visual disability.

  • Bestsellers, award-winners, classics, self-help, business and more
  • Books for kids, teens and adults
  • Download books or receive home delivery by mail

To sign up for CELA:

If you already have a valid library card with the Belleville Public Library:

  • Visit celalibrary.ca and register for CELA online or
  • Phone 613-968-6731 x 2037

If you don't have a library card with the Belleville Public Library:

  • Email the Information Services department or

About CELA

CELA is a national not-for-profit organization run by public libraries for public libraries. CELA's mission is to support public libraries in the provision of accessible collections for Canadians with print disabilities. CELA's collections and services are available to patrons with print disabilities who are members of a public library funded to receive their services, either by their provincial/territory or through a local library subscription. More than 600 public library systems across Canada are currently members of CELA.
