Graham Metson - Rising from the Ashes
Born and educated in London, England, Graham Metson was active in the London art scene in the 1950's and 60's. He eventually moved to the United States and then to Canada to continue his career as an artist and Art Educator. Before moving to Prince Edward County he taught at the Nova Scotia College of Art and at Concordia University. His artwork can be found in many public and private collections internationally, as well as locally at Oeno and Hatch Galleries. Tragically, his home burned to the ground last winter, but he has risen from the ashes yet again, and we are so pleased to welcome back Graham Metson to the Parrott Gallery. This retrospective exhibition showcases over 50 years of his work.
You can meet Graham at a reception on Saturday, July 9 at 2:30 p.m.
