Reader Zone is a convenient app that allows you to record your reading progress. You can log your individual reading progress as well as join different Reading Groups. Follow the instructions below to get started in one of our reading challenges through Reader Zone. To learn more about each reading challenge, go HERE.
How to Get Started on Reader Zone
Download and install the Reader Zone app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Search for "Reader Zone" to find the correct app.
Create your account by clicking “Sign Up.” Enter your email and create a password.
Select your account type. A Reader account is for one person who will manage their own account and reading entries. A Parent account is for a person who will enroll more than one person in their account.
For a Parent account, click "Add Reader" and enter the first and last name of the reader on the next screen. A parent can enter the child's first name and last initial, nickname, etc.
Enter the 5-character reading program code. (ex. 6d034 - Junior Librarian)
You’re ready to read! For 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, simply enter the number of books you've read as you read them. You can optionally enter in each title that you read. For Junior Librarian, click the play button to start a timer as you read, or click the “Manual Entry” button to enter your how many minutes you’ve read.
