Fragility and Strength

Linda Mazur-Jack and Emőke K. Wilson

On display in Gallery 2 until July 19, 2025

Image of 2 pieces of art, one a sculpture with branches, leaves and part of a face, one a colourful floral abstract

In “ Fragility and Strength “, Linda and Emoke have each used their diverse talents to create artworks that speak to the universal issue of dealing with loss and pain.

Each artist uses both traditional and unusual media to express their feelings via their own personal styles and techniques. These illustrate the myriad visions they have of Life, its conundrums and challenges. Their art expresses a wide range of emotions, some optimistic and hopeful….some not.  It all speaks to the fragility inherent in humanity, and the strength it takes to keep moving forward in spite of the challenges Life throws at us all.
