November 8 to 29, 2018. Opening Reception: Thursday, November 8, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Gallery 1 - “Heart and Soul: Two Men Tell Their Stories”
Bill Stearman is a quilt artist and Larry Tayler is a photographer and both are passionately committed to their respective art forms. Bill says his quilts come from his heart and Larry says his photos come from his soul. And so this collaboration, “Heart and Soul: Two Men Tell Their Stories” is launched.
Please join us to hear the many memorable stories by Bill and Larry at a series of Art Talks every Thursday during the show, from 6:30 – 7:30.
Gallery 2 - “Preoccupied with My Father”
We are pleased to introduce artist and author Simon Schneiderman whose publication, “Preoccupied with My Father” has been represented in pictures and words in an expanded format in exhibition form. Both the book and the show offer an intimate view of a child’s experience of the post WWII Diaspora.
Simon will be giving an Art Talk on Saturday, November 17 from 2-4 p.m.
