COVID-19 Safety

Update - According to Provincial regulations, patrons are not required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination to enter the Library or Gallery to borrow items, view art, use public computers and printing services, or for the use of study and lounge spaces. However, face coverings are mandatory to enter the Library or Gallery and must be worn at all times while in the building.

All indoor programs and events, including room rentals, require proof of Covid-19 vaccination (demonstrating you are fully vaccinated and the final dose was taken at least 14 days ago) for those age 12 and over and identification showing name and date of birth. Pre-registration required.

We want to provide assurance that our top priority is the safety of our customers and staff. As such, there are strict limits to the number of customers allowed into the building at one time and we are practicing physical distancing and ask that our customers maintain a 2 meter distance from others. Face coverings are mandatory upon entry into the building.

  • Computer use is limited with physical distancing in place.
  • Returns are not accepted at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre until further notice.

Before you visit the library and gallery:

Take the COVID-19 self-assessment test. If you have symptoms, if you may have been exposed to Covid-19, or if you are awaiting Covid-19 test results, please stay at home and do not visit the library or gallery.

We encourage residents to regularly check the information being provided by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health.

Thank you for helping keep our community safe!
