Celebrating Indigenous Literature with Simon Brascoupé

In celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, Belleville Public Library is honored to partner with FNTI and welcome artist, researcher and educator Simon Brascoupé, Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg. Simon will discuss the teachings of three books: Giving Thanks by Chief Jake Swamp, All Our Relations by Tanya Talaga, and Noopiming: The Cure for White Ladies by Leanne Betasamosake Simpson. We hope that you will join us in listening to Simon, to not only celebrate and appreciate Indigenous literature, but to gain an understanding of the diverse Indigenous experiences and cultures in Canada.
