PAWS for Reading is a program that allows children to read aloud to a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog in order to improve reading and communication skills. Children will read individually to a trained therapy dog (and her handler) in our 1st Floor Program Room where they can feel comfortable, confident — and have fun!
For Beginner/Reluctant Readers ages 5 and up.
Sessions are 15 minutes each at 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45 p.m.
