Celebrating 50 Years!

From humble beginnings in the basement auditorium of the Corby Library, then moving to the new Delaney wing at the Belleville Library in 1973, to it’s present location on the Library’s 3rd floor, the Parrott Gallery has had a long association with the artist community.

Over the years the gallery has hosted shows by local, national and international art groups, individual artists and traveling exhibitions. In celebration of our 50th anniversary we have been showcasing work from our permanent collection.

On display until June 30 in gallery 3: work by Albert Elliot including newly donated pieces.

Exhibition Reception: Thursday, June 15, 6:00-7:30 p.m. Public is invited to this free event!

In the corridor display case: ceramics and paintings by Audrey and Gordon Davies.

Stay tuned for more events later this year, such as our Brown Bag Lunch series.

Bring your lunch and join us as we re-visit our Brown Bag Lunch series starting Wednesday, September 27, 12-1 p.m. Jennifer Lyons, curator at Glanmore National Historic Site, will present a History of Glanmore.
